My dear friend, I received your comments in my blog site concerning my article on brotherhood and humanism. I feel sorry and I feel your negative reaction to this article has been born out of anger and hurt because of your past experience with priests or people whom you would refer to as church. I feel sorry for you and understand the pain you have gone through but tell me what wrong did Jesus do that you have to reject his message? My sincere request, go read the message of Jesus in teh Holy Bible and I am sure if you are sincere you will regret the things that you have been doing all on account of one major hurt...I will pray for you, May Jesus bless and help you .....(let me tell you this; if you have been a victim of Church politics then I have been all the more, yes, far greater than you)but it is the pure self Sacrifice of Jesus that keeps me going and I say to myself that even I am selfish and a sinner)

ReplyDeleteYou are absolutely wrong I am not a hurt person and you have no right to feel sorry for me.I believe in the God the God John said in the beginning the Spirit the God no one has seen the magnificent power we call God. We foolish people think we know his shape his language and his liking's. I am ready to discuss facts about New Testament and Jesus with any one. I have done my home work. I was born in to a Catholic family all my members in my family today are church going Catholics except I. Most of them are not happy with me because I do question the blind faith. I have red NT few times and I know more about bible more than any of these church going people. I do believe Jesus as a historical great man who lived about two thousand some years back and contributed very good teachings to the humanity. Please look and read history before Jesus. about Confucius, Zoroaster and Buddha they all preached basically same principles Jesus preached. Who talked about the golden rule first time" Hurt not others in ways that you yourself would find hurtful." for the first time Confucius more than 500 years before Jesus. Let me ask few questions I hope you will give me honest answers. Was Jesus a christian? Did Jesus change his Jewish faith before he died? Did Jesus create Christianity? Did Peter, James and Paul become Christians? Which day of the week was their holy day?Tell me all the sacraments Jesus created? Was Jesus an idol worshiper?. Which day Jesus considered as the Sabbath day? Do you think emperor Constantine presided the Nicene Council in 336 a d that created the creed you say during every mass. Was Constantine a baptized christian at that time. Do we have any original manuscripts of bible today? Why only four gospels? there where so many gospels existed some time and what hap end to them? I am not worried about church politics I consider church and priests as organizations and its employees. They all have to run a business and make a living just like any other business. My only objection is please don't talk about morality and virtues. I am against all religions I believe religions are the root cause for most miseries in this world. I hope you will write back to me. I am not trying to offend any one. I follow Jesus, he questioned authority and false teachings in his time and he got killed. Teachings of the Catholic church and like organizations are false and against the real God. Jesus said blind leading the blind.

ReplyDeleteYou hoped that I write to you though I was not keen on occupying myself in deliberations, there is a reason for this which I can tell you privately and publicly. I have no intention to wash dirty linen or good linen as dirty linen in public.
You challenge me and question me about the Bible and History: 1) As if you were there at that time in History 2) as if, that is the only way to look at history 3) As if I have not answered these question in my faith quest with satisfaction for myself.
So you see the inferences you draw and the way you judge people, it is, as if your judgments are right. I too can draw many inferences and that too legitimate, if you are honest. But these are not my ways to do things.
You can contact me on my email address or meet me personally in a spirit of true search. I promise to help you out and even answer your question if you are sincere.
If I had your personal email ID I would have written to you personally (whatever may be your interpretation for this attitude of mine, you have the freedom to judge, it doesn't matter to me)rather than use a open forum to write personal matters.
